Opta’s supercomputer has predicted the likely winner of the 2026 UEFA Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, who have both secured their places in this season’s final.
The French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, booked their spot in the final for the second consecutive season after defeating Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate.
After claiming a thrilling 5-4 victory at home, the Parisians travelled to the Allianz Arena and earned a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich, thanks to an early goal from Ousmane Dembele.
Harry Kane scored a late equaliser for Bayern, but it proved to be only a consolation.

Elsewhere, Arsenal secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium to progress to the final with a tight 2-1 aggregate win. Bukayo Saka scored the decisive second-half goal that sealed qualification for the Gunners.

Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal will face off on May 30 in Budapest to determine who will be crowned UEFA Champions League winners this season.
According to Opta’s supercomputer, Arsenal are favourites to defeat Paris Saint-Germain and lift their first-ever UEFA Champions League trophy. The supercomputer gives Arsenal a 55.76% chance of winning the final, while Paris Saint-Germain have a 44.24% chance of retaining the title.
It is worth recalling that Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate last season to reach the Champions League final, where they went on to thrash Inter Milan 5-0. This year’s final could provide Arsenal with the perfect opportunity to gain revenge in spectacular fashion.
