A woman identified as Softsgora on X was among those who criticised the disclosure, directing her frustration at the individual who reportedly provided the media with details about the late footballer’s private life.
Softsgora maintained that while Adams had been a public figure, certain boundaries should still have been observed when discussing his life and death.
She questioned the need to make intimate details surrounding his final day public, arguing that there was little value in exposing such personal moments. Softsgora also expressed disbelief that someone who was close to Adams could have decided to recount those experiences to journalists.

Reports outline events before death
According to News24, Adams and his girlfriend Aqueelah Adendorf had a disagreement after banking notifications appeared on her phone showing spending connected to a night out.
The publication reported that the pair eventually made peace, after which Adams was said to have spent time with friends who became concerned after noticing that he appeared distressed.
News24 further reported that Adams spoke to his father Juanito at about eight in the morning, during which he indicated that he could not go on.
Rapport, as cited by Daily Voice, reported that Adams, Adendorf, his brother Ronaldo and several friends had spent the previous night together. The report alleged that an argument broke out and continued after the group returned to an apartment in Cape Town.
The decision to publish details of those events subsequently triggered the backlash expressed by Softsgora, with critics questioning whether such deeply personal moments should have been brought into the public domain.
