Nollywood actress Ini Edo has shared fresh details about the ongoing arrangements for the burial of her late colleague, Alexx Ekubo.
Taking to her Instagram page, she announced that a special tribute link has been set up for fans, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to leave messages and share personal memories in honour of the late actor.
She explained that the initiative is meant to support the grieving family during this painful period, giving people who were touched by his life a chance to express their condolences and celebrate his legacy.
Ini Edo also encouraged members of the public to take part by sending in heartfelt tributes through the provided link, noting that each message would serve as a reminder of how deeply Alexx Ekubo was loved and appreciated during his lifetime.
She wrote:

The passing of Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo was confirmed on Monday, May 11, 2026. The 40-year-old reportedly lost his life after a prolonged battle with cancer.
His family had already announced the plans for his final rites. The programme indicates that a Service of Songs will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, with attendees expected to dress in white. This will be followed by a wake-keep on Wednesday, June 17.
He is scheduled to be buried on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in his hometown in Abia State.
