Nollywood actress Nkiru Umeh, also known as Angellikky, the woman recently accused by Peggy Ovire of allegedly disrupting her marriage to Frederick Leonard, has now addressed the ongoing controversy.
The situation escalated after reports emerged in which actress Peggy Ovire accused Frederick Leonard of being involved with a side chick who is reportedly married to another man.
Taking to her Instagram page, Nkiru shared a fresh video of herself, reflecting on the pressures of public opinion and the impossibility of satisfying everyone.
“Uwa enwe nmeta (You can’t please the world). It is well,” she wrote.

Before this response, Nigerians had already begun circulating the identity of a woman spotted with Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard, following growing speculation about a possible crisis in his marriage to actress Peggy Ovire.
In a series of Instagram Stories posts, Peggy made strong allegations against the actor, claiming he was involved in an extramarital affair with a married woman who also has children.
To support her claims, she shared a video showing Frederick Leonard alongside a woman at comedian Funnybone’s recent comedy show in Lagos.
She further reinforced her position by resharing a cryptic post she had originally published in February 2026.
In that post, she questioned whether any woman could tolerate a marriage where her husband is involved with a married woman, noting that the person in question was initially introduced to her as a “friend.”
Following these developments, several Nigerians proceeded to flood the Instagram page of the woman identified as Angel Nikky. The backlash led her to disable her comment section amid the ongoing drama involving Frederick Leonard and Peggy Ovire.
Shortly afterward, social media users also resurfaced an old post from 2018 in which Angellikky openly expressed admiration for Frederick Leonard.
In that earlier post, the Nollywood actress even compared him to popular TV host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. She wrote:
“Errrr……Am I permitted to crush? I promise not to crash, Na who born these ones bikonu. Men them looking all shades of dapper #excesscharisma Should we start with the actor extraordinaire @freddieleonard looking like a man and half or we should start with the classic man @ebuka who we all know his case of hits back to back fashion statements has gotten to the ear of the gods…”
The lengthy post was filled with admiration for both men’s fashion sense, with Leonard described as “actor extraordinaire,” while also highlighting his strong charisma and public appeal.
