The family of Princewill Chimezie Richardson announced his passing on Friday night, July 10, 2026.
In a statement released exclusively through the late leader’s verified WhatsApp phone number, relatives said the death of the 33-year-old Biafra Nations League (BnL) leader came unexpectedly and described the loss as a heartbreaking experience for the family.

The BnL is a separatist militant organisation campaigning for the independence of the Biafra region, with its operational headquarters located in the Bakassi Peninsula.
Founded in 2013 as the Biafra Nations Youth League, the group primarily carries out its activities across the Gulf of Guinea and Nigeria’s southeastern coastal region.

His family honoured his memory by reflecting on the compassion and generosity he extended to those around him, saying he would be remembered for the lasting impact he made on the lives of people who knew him.
