An X user identified as @RealQueenBee_ has raised questions over certain details surrounding the recent rescue of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State, pointing to what she believes are inconsistencies in the official narrative.
As widely reported, Nigerian security operatives successfully carried out an operation that led to the safe rescue of pupils and teachers who had been kidnapped in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The abduction occurred nearly two months ago after suspected bandits invaded several communities within the state.
During the attack, the gunmen stormed three schools and kidnapped 39 pupils along with seven teachers. The victims spent 56 days in captivity before eventually regaining their freedom on July 10th, 2026.
Following the successful rescue, @RealQueenBee_ took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to highlight what she described as unusual details in the photograph released of the rescued pupils and teachers.
According to her, when the children were abducted from their schools, they had been dressed in their school uniforms and were carrying their school bags and wearing their shoes.
She, however, claimed that the children shown in the rescue photograph appeared to be wearing home and vacation clothes instead. She also pointed out that some of the children were seen smiling and holding mobile phones.
She wrote: “The children were kidnapped from school wearing their school uniforms, school bags and shoes.
They were returned wearing home and vacation clothes, while some were smiling others were carrying their phones unstained.
40+ were taken and 20+ returned, and posed for photoshop.
You endangered the lives of little children for the sake of politics just to make an illegitimate regime to look good.
The propaganda and lies that Tinubu and the APC cannot tell does not exist. Shame on them!.”

Hopefully it’s really them, you can’t put nothing past a government that has been aiding, ignoring terrorists n paying people off looking into the genocide in Nigeria.”
@Yhur1stLuV commented: “Now they are denying the state governor access to the supposed rescued victims. Apc is a cancer.”
@GEMINIPRINS claimed: “No sign of trauma. One has a mobile phone. So many of them looking confused as to the next line of drama or acting. 🎭 Jokers and clowns 🤡.”
