The founder of Righteous and Faithful City, Prophet David Uche Okolie, shared a startling account with his congregation about how spirits allegedly roam and operate among living human beings.
The Nigerian pastor claimed that before anyone enters a mortuary, they must first knock on the door, even though the room is occupied only by dead bodies that are incapable of responding.
According to him, mortuary workers are instructed to always knock before entering the room where corpses are kept.
Prophet David Uche Okolie further alleged that spirits in the mortuary often leave their graves and visit nightclubs. He asserted that these spirits communicate with mortuary attendants, informing them of their intention to go out and the exact time they plan to return.
He said:
“The spirits leave the grave and go to clubs. They talk to the Mortuary attendant, we want to go the club, we are coming back at this time. If you go to club here now, just know that you people are many, there are ghosts here in Nigeria now.”
The cleric also narrated a story about a young university student who allegedly met a woman at a party. After spending time together, the woman reportedly invited him back to her residence.
The pastor claimed that while the young man was being intimate with the woman, a loud and aggressive knock suddenly came from the door, leaving him terrified.
According to the prophet, the woman informed the young man that the person knocking aggressively was her husband.
He went on to claim that the frightened man attempted to escape through a window, and upon landing outside, found himself in a graveyard.
His words:
“Immediately he stepped on the ground, he was in a graveyard. He started tip-toeing because you put your leg here, this grave is weak and others. When he came out, those keeping the mortuary brought out their charms and started speaking to him because that is what they do, they speak to spirits. They thought he was one of them, so they started telling him to go back.
The man said he was a human being and explained the story to them. They said he was the eight person this thing has happened to this month. They brought him for deliverance.”
