Social media commentator and critic, Honour Oriretan, has heavily criticised Real Madrid and French striker, Kylian Mbappe, over the appearance of bumps on the footballer’s jaw and chin.
Kylian Mbappe, who is undoubtedly enjoying an outstanding campaign at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup, has scored a total of six goals and provided two assists in just four matches.
During the tournament, fans have noticed bumps on the 27-year-old forward’s face, triggering mixed reactions across social media.
Honour Oriretan addressed the issue directly, calling out Kylian Mbappe over the visible bumps on his face, which have attracted public attention. According to him, the French striker developed the bumps after using a shaving stick on his beard.
He accused the football superstar of being stingy despite earning significant money from his profession. Oriretan advised Kylian Mbappe to use a clipper or shaving cream the next time he decides to trim his beard to avoid developing those unappealing bumps on his face.
He wrote on his Facebook page: “Mbappe, it’s unw!se using Shav!ng St!ck to scrap£ ur beards. Stop using Shav!ng St!ck to scrape ur beards rather start using Clipper or Shav!ng Cream to look clean, smooth & bumps freee. U’re a global footballer £arning little b!IIions so stop being stingy to urself as self-care ‘d be ur priority to remain camera friendly, sustain ur relevance.
Shav!ng St!ck isn’t for beards nor for pr!vate part as it’s ONLY good for armp!ts..Be wise. Don’t be unw!se.”
