Popular Nigerian content creator Peller has sparked reactions online after a video emerged showing him gifting a groundnut seller and her daughter N1 million during an Instagram livestream on Monday, August 31, 2026.
The mother and daughter joined Peller’s livestream, where he spoke with them about their groundnut business.
When he asked how much they had spent to purchase their goods, the woman disclosed that they were operating with merchandise worth just N3,000, while showing him the bucket of groundnuts they were selling.

Peller subsequently asked the woman how much she would be willing to sell all the groundnuts for.
She mentioned N1 million, and Peller reportedly transferred the amount to her without hesitation.
The content creator then asked the mother and daughter to check their bank account and confirm that the money had been received.
Peller Reacts to Girl’s Response
However, what happened after the transfer quickly became a talking point online.
Instead of showing the level of excitement Peller expected after receiving the money, the daughter appeared relatively calm about the gift.
The streamer was seemingly unhappy with her reaction and told her that he would send his bank details so that she could return the N1 million.
The girl immediately pleaded with Peller and apologised for how she reacted.
Peller explained that if he were in her position and received such a significant gift, he would show genuine excitement and express his appreciation in a special manner.
