Media personality Daddy Freeze has reacted to the controversy surrounding the fake dollar notes allegedly sprayed at TikToker Peller’s wedding, sharing his opinion on who he believes may have been responsible.
The discussion followed Peller’s revelation that some of the dollar bills he received during his wedding to Jarvis were counterfeit.
According to the content creator, he only discovered the issue after taking the money to the bank, where he was informed that several of the notes were fake.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Daddy Freeze said he does not believe the fake currency came from the wealthy guests who attended the ceremony.
Instead, he pointed to some celebrities and Nollywood actors, saying:
“Peller said he was sprayed fake dollars. It’s Nollywood actors and celebrities that’ll give Peller fake dollars, not billionaires like Chief Priest.”
The broadcaster added that his own life experiences have influenced the kind of people he chooses to associate with.
He explained that he prefers keeping the company of individuals who have achieved significant success in business and the entertainment industry.
Daddy Freeze also referred to businessman Mr Ochacho’s reported wedding gift to Peller, suggesting that it reflected the confidence some prominent figures have in the TikToker’s growing influence and future potential.
His comments have since sparked fresh reactions online, with many social media users debating his views on the wedding gift controversy.
