Nigerian actress, Idia Aisien, has paid tribute to the late Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, expressing deep pain and sorrow over his passing.
A few days ago, it was announced that the actor had passed away at a hospital in Lagos State due to complications from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
Since the heartbreaking news broke, several celebrities, well-wishers, and colleagues have paid tribute to the late actor while extending their condolences to his family. Idia Aisien has now joined the list, sharing an emotional farewell message for Alexx Ekubo on her Instagram page.
According to her, Alexx stood by her even during some of her lowest moments. She described him as one of the kindest souls she had ever known and appreciated his selflessness and unwavering willingness to be there for others.

“Dear Alex….
I can be quiet about so many things, but I’m not brave enough to stay mute…I’m literally shaking….I’m so so sorry. You were with me at so many of my lowest points…and you don’t deserve to go this way..not this young. You were always the kindest soul; able to be there for everyone and lend your wisdom— I always joked that you’re at least an 80 year-old living in a young man’s body…
Life is so cruel…May God please comfort your whole family…this really really hurts..
Sleep well my friend and love always…💔💔🙏🏾🕊️🫂🫂.”
