Namibia: Visa-free entry African countries
It should be noted that several African countries, including South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and Eswatini, are not required to obtain a visa for short-term visits to Namibia.
Their citizens benefit from separate reciprocal agreements that allow visa-free entry.
Nigeria is not included among the countries eligible for either Namibia’s visa-free entry arrangement or its visa-on-arrival programme for holders of ordinary passports.
As a result, Nigerian citizens travelling on ordinary passports must secure a visa before departing for Namibia. However, Nigerians travelling with diplomatic, official, or service passports remain exempt from visa requirements under separate bilateral arrangements.
