A young Nigerian woman identified as @esokidney on TikTok has opened up about her kidney failure, blaming poor eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle choices for her condition.
In a video shared on TikTok, the lady used her experience to warn others against making the same mistakes she made while in university.
According to her, she was careless with her diet and water intake during her school days, admitting that she often avoided preparing proper meals because she considered it stressful and time-consuming.
She explained that instant noodles became her regular food because they were quick and easy to prepare.
She said she ate them constantly before going to class and after returning home, relying on them as her main source of food.
The lady added that she barely drank enough water and rarely paid attention to balanced nutrition, believing at the time that she was coping well with her routine.
Looking back, she said she now believes those habits gradually damaged her organs without her realising it.
She advised viewers to take their health seriously by eating balanced meals, maintaining discipline with their diet, and drinking enough water regularly.
The TikTok user also warned that many young people are currently following the same unhealthy routine she once had and urged them to stop before suffering similar health complications.
She specifically cautioned against excessive dependence on instant noodles, insisting that they did her more harm than good. She concluded her message by praying for viewers and wishing them good health.
Her video has since attracted reactions on TikTok, with many users sharing opinions and discussing the dangers of unhealthy eating habits in the comment section.
