A Nigerian woman identified as Ope Baller on TikTok has shared an interesting observation after working as a camera operator at Pastor Jerry Eze’s NSPPD prayer conference held at Manchester United’s Old Trafford.
Ope revealed that she was assigned as Camera Two during the programme and, despite being a Chelsea supporter, was struck by the sheer amount of prayers offered at the stadium during the event.
According to her, prayers had been going on at the venue for several days, and she jokingly suggested that Manchester United’s players would have little excuse if the club’s fortunes did not improve.
The Chelsea fan explained that she has her own rivalry with Manchester United because of her support for Chelsea, but the scale of the prayers at Old Trafford made her rethink the situation surrounding the club.
She humorously argued that if the team continued to struggle despite the prayers made at the stadium, then the players themselves would have to take responsibility for their performances.
Ope said the prayers had gone up in large numbers, comparing their intensity to smoke and flames rising into the air.
Her comments have attracted attention among football and NSPPD followers accordingly.
