The allies of the late National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Organising secretary, Toba Ajiboye Ijaya are undoubtedly furious about his death.
A clip which emerged from the burial ceremony conducted on Tuesday, 21st July 2026, captures the men venting profusely while expressing their bitterness over the sad loss.
A man who spoke (Yoruba) in the clip noted that the killers of Toba Ijaya took away food from the mouths of many courtesy of their actions.
He affirmed that many depended on him to survive and now he’s no more, it would definitely be a difficult period for them.
Speaking further, the man issued a threat, stating that fight and war would soon start.
A few other individuals who sat/stood beside him also echoed his statement, expressing more zeal to seek vengeance.
