Nigerian music promoter and socialite Sam Larry has reportedly been admitted to hospital after he was involved in a road accident along the Lagos-Calabar coastal road in Lagos state.
Reports indicate that the collision happened in the early hours of Saturday, July 4, 2026, when the vehicle transporting Sam Larry reportedly crashed into a trailer.
It was further reported that his bouncer lost his life at the scene, while a video showing the deceased’s grieving family surfaced online a few hours after the incident.
Adebayo Taofiq, spokesperson for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), also confirmed the accident in a statement to TheCable Lifestyle. However, he explained that officials of the agency were unable to verify the identities of the victims at the time.
The LASTMA spokesperson disclosed that emergency personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene to evacuate those who sustained injuries and ensure the affected section of the road was cleared to restore the free flow of traffic.
As of the time of filing this report, the exact circumstances that led to the crash have yet to be established. Sam Larry’s current health condition also remains uncertain, as neither his family nor his representatives have released an official statement addressing the incident.
