The Nigerian social media community has been thrown into mourning following reports that popular TikToker Akube Nation lost his life in a fatal car accident, with heartbreaking details about his final moments now emerging online.
Although the exact circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be officially confirmed by authorities, an emotional video surfaced online showing a man who claimed to be close to the late content creator narrating what allegedly transpired before the fatal journey.
According to the man in the viral clip, he had already made arrangements for Akube Nation’s manager to drive him, explaining that he was too exhausted to do so himself and had returned home to rest after handing over the responsibility.
However, he claimed that things took a tragic turn when Akube Nation allegedly refused to remain a passenger.
Pointing at another man in the video, he said:
“This was who I told to drive him. This is the manager I told to drive him.”
He further revealed that the TikToker allegedly argued with the designated driver before taking matters into his own hands, adding:
“He suddenly started arguing with him and snatched the key from him. This is someone who has never driven a car. Never.”
The account has since gone viral, leaving fans and followers deeply emotional as they grapple with the shocking loss of the beloved content creator.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
