Prayers and appeals for support are pouring in for ailing child actor Ifeanyi Ezeokeke as he continues to struggle with a severe, undisclosed health condition.
Reports indicate that the actor has remained bedridden for nearly two decades, a situation that has left him unable to earn a living or continue his career.
The matter came to public attention through a video shared by brand influencer Emmanuel Okwuluora Okoh Onyeka, who appealed to some of Ezeokeke’s senior colleagues in the entertainment industry and urged well-meaning individuals to assist in keeping the actor alive.
According to Emmanuel, Ifeanyi has been battling his condition for 19 years. During that difficult period, the actor reportedly lost his father.
He further revealed that Ifeanyi’s mother was involved in a road accident and now lives with a metal implant in her leg, a circumstance that has made it increasingly challenging for her to shoulder the responsibility of caring for her son on her own.
Emmanuel also explained in the video that poverty has prevented Ifeanyi from accessing adequate medical treatment. He added that the environment where the actor currently resides is unsuitable for someone in his condition.
He went on to seek financial assistance from the public, stating that the funds would be used to support Ezeokeke’s healthcare needs and help provide a modest home for him and his mother.

Following the release of the video, many fans voiced their worries about the actor’s welfare. Several commenters lamented that numerous individuals within the movie industry endure lengthy illnesses with little or no support.
Many social media users began tagging veteran actors and actresses, calling on them to rally around Ezeokeke and his mother during this difficult time.
Others offered prayers for his recovery, while some pointed out that Emmanuel should not have limited his appeal to only a select number of industry figures.
