Nollywood actress Faithia Balogun has responded to the lingering curiosity surrounding her relationship with her former husband, Saidi Balogun, putting to rest the speculation from fans.
In recent weeks, the former couple have been spotted dancing together and jointly promoting Faithia’s film, Efunroye, leading many social media users to wonder whether they had rekindled their relationship.

Faithia explained that conversations about her relationship with Saidi Balogun did not begin with social media, noting that people had been discussing their personal lives long before online platforms became popular.
She also described herself as someone who values privacy and deliberately keeps personal matters away from public scrutiny.
The actress emphasized that there is no bad blood between her and Saidi Balogun, stating that they share a peaceful relationship and coexist without any conflict.
She further urged people to refrain from reading unnecessary meanings into their interactions on social media, saying that, as mature adults, their actions should simply be accepted for what they are.
She said: “Even before social media existed, people were talking about our issue. When social media came, the discussions continued. I want to appreciate all my online in-laws for the love they have shown my family. I am a very private person, so I don’t bring all my issues to social media. There is nothing anyone can do; people will always talk. We are at peace, there is no beef, and there is no conflict in my family. Whatever you see us doing as adults, just continue to support us. To all my online in-laws, I love you so much. There is no beef or fight; we are all at peace.”
Despite the end of their marriage, Faithia has continued to play an active role in the lives of Saidi Balogun’s children, including those who are not her biological children. After the actor lost his daughter, the actress honoured the deceased with a heartfelt tribute shared on social media.
