The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly removed the names of 19 House of Representatives candidates from the final list it submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The decision was contained in a letter addressed to the electoral commission and jointly signed by the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, and the party’s National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru.
In the correspondence, the party explained that the changes were made following the recommendations contained in the report of the Primary Election Appeal Committee.
According to Daily Trust, the list released by the APC revealed that the affected candidates are spread across eight states, namely Kogi, Abia, Benue, Taraba, Ondo, Niger, Kwara, Kaduna, and Ebonyi.

- Sesoo Ikpagher replaced by Livinus Tsar Adzor in Vandeikya/Konshisha federal constituency in Benue State.
- Terser Ugbor replaced by Kohol Shedrach Iornem in Kwande/Ushongo federal constituency in Benue State.
- Sekav Dzua Iyortyom replaced by Gideon Inyom in Buruku federal constituency in Benue State.
- Austin Asema replaced by Achado Nongo David Gwer in East/Gwer West federal constituency in Benue State.
- Peter Abel Diah replaced by Sanusi Mohammed Galadima in Gashaka/Kurmi/Sardauna federal constituency in Taraba state.
- Abubakar Lado Abdullahi replaced by Adamu Tanko in Suleja/Tafa/Gurara federal constituency in Niger state.
- Adamu Suleiman replaced by Adamu Usman in Lavun/Edati/Mokwa federal constituency in Niger state.
- Raheem Tunji Olawuyi replaced by Olasumbo Florence Oyeyemi in Ekiti/Irepodun/Oke-Ero federal constituency in Kwara state
