Social media critic VeryDarkMan has finally reacted following reports that embattled businessman Blord has been granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Moments after the court’s decision, the activist took to Instagram, where he shared a cryptic post that quickly drew attention online.
He wrote:
“One billionaire is coming out of prison today after 2 weeks, let’s prepare to send another billionaire to jail.”
His statement came shortly after news broke that Blord had regained his freedom after spending about 15 days in custody at Kuje prison.
Blord was earlier remanded following his arraignment on charges related to criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and the alleged unauthorised use of VeryDarkMan’s image in an online dispute.
Meanwhile, activist Omoyele Sowore confirmed that the Federal High Court granted Blord bail on self-recognition, meaning he was released based on his personal reputation and influence.
Despite being granted bail, the court also imposed conditions, including an order for him to submit his international passport.
This is aimed at preventing him from leaving the country while the case is still ongoing.
