Martins Vincent Otse, the controversial human rights activist better known as Verydarkman, has responded to a recent comment by former BBNaija winner Phyna, alleging that he asked to sleep with her.
The drama started when Phyna claimed on social media that Verydarkman had requested sexual favours from her during their past WhatsApp conversations.
In the viral video, Phyna also spoke about her late sister, who was killed last year by a Dangote trailer. She expressed frustration that the case had been swept under the carpet.
Phyna blamed VDM for worsening the situation, saying he spread falsehoods about her to the public and indirectly disrupted the process.

Responding to the allegation against him, VDM asked Phyna to provide evidence to back up her claim. He firmly denied asking to sleep with her, calling the accusation false.
He added that even if the claim were true, asking for consent to have sex with another consenting adult shouldn’t be treated as an offence or a scandal.
VDM argued that as long as it isn’t sexual assault, rape, or an attempt to sleep with a married woman or a minor, there’s nothing wrong with seeking intimacy consensually between adults.
