Popular herbal vendor and social media personality Eniola Sisialagbo has publicly apologised following the leak of a private video involving herself and her husband.
She addressed the situation in a post shared on Facebook, where she admitted fault and asked her followers for understanding amid the controversy.
Earlier reports claimed that the clip, which allegedly captured Sisialagbo in an intimate setting with her husband and another woman, was initially circulated within a private group chat before making its way across various social media platforms.
The incident triggered widespread reactions online, with many users questioning her reputation and influence.
Responding to the backlash, the influencer took responsibility for her actions and expressed remorse.
“I own my mistakes and I apologize with all sincerity of the video circulating online, I am deeply sorry to everyone who felt disappointed in me,” she wrote.
She further revealed that the situation has had a significant emotional impact on her, stating that she has been struggling to cope since the video surfaced. According to her, the stress has disrupted her sleep and eating habits.
“This is a great phase for me and I pray for God forgiveness and my fans forgiveness. Please let’s move on pass this because this media is where I get little support to feed,” she added.
Sisialagbo also appealed to the public for compassion, urging people not to judge her harshly as she deals with the aftermath privately.
“Please don’t condemn me or castigate me. I am already passing through a lot. I can’t eat or sleep for days even sleeping meds aren’t working for me any longer,” she wrote.
