A private WhatsApp exchange between late Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan Ogogo and his daughter, Kira, has surfaced online, giving fans an emotional glimpse into their relationship before his death.
Kira shared the conversation under the contact name “My Daddy,” revealing how her father tried to comfort her after discovering that she had been crying.
In the chat dated Sunday, July 26, Ogogo addressed his daughter by her full name, Olawunmi, and told her that seeing her and her sisters happy gave him strength. He also urged her not to let her tears make him worried.
“If you cry it will make me sad and I will start to think. Be strong I am strong. Nothing is going to happen to me insha Allah or you don’t believe in Allah,” he wrote.
He added: “If you do then don’t cry my princess.”
Kira responded by denying that she was crying and blamed her sister, Haleemah, for informing their father. She also expressed her faith in Allah and her love for him.
Ogogo replied: “Love ❤️ u too my princess.”
The emotional conversation has touched many fans, who have continued to mourn the veteran actor and celebrate the bond he shared with his children.
Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, who was widely known for his contributions to Yoruba cinema, died on Sunday, August 23, 2026, following a battle with cancer.
