Apostle Joshua Selman has revealed that he received what he described as a troubling revelation concerning the death of a high-ranking Nigerian politician.
The clergyman shared the revelation during a church service on Sunday, September 27, 2026, explaining that it came unexpectedly while he was praying for people who were sick.

“I’m not a prophet of doom and I wish I didn’t have to say this but I’m seeing a high-ranking politician in this nation. His time is up. I’m seeing him going. I’m seeing people gather to bury the person,” he said.
Selman stressed that his intention was not to celebrate the death of anyone or create unnecessary fear among members of the public.

The clergyman explained that revealing the vision was, in his view, intended to give the family concerned an opportunity for spiritual and emotional preparation.
“The reason why we announce this is not because we rejoice over whatever it is that is happening. It’s so that God will comfort the family, one, and then prepare the heart,” he said.
He further stated that he believed the outcome could not be changed.
“But there’s nothing that can be done. It’s time. It’s over.”
Cleric refuses to name politician
Selman also dismissed the idea that he was making the revelation to attract attention or gain popularity.
He maintained that he does not make prophecies simply to impress people and said the revelation had continued to weigh on him.
“I don’t prophesy to impress. I don’t have that time for all those games,” he said, adding that “the Lord has impressed on my spirit, and it will not let me rest.”
The preacher did not disclose the identity of the politician he was referring to.
