Veteran gospel artist and evangelist, Bola Are , has issued a strong message to Nigerians, urging them to unite in prayer as the nation continues to grapple with insecurity and economic hardship.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on May 26, 2026, she revealed that God gave her a message for Christians both in Nigeria and abroad, stating that the country’s healing depends on collective repentance and prayer.
According to Dr Bola, God instructed her to call on Christians to dedicate three days, from June 1 to June 3, to fervently pray for Nigeria’s divine healing.
She said:
“My name is Evangelist Dr Bola Are. God sent me to all Christians that are in Nigeria, both home and abroad, to pray between on the 1st, on the 2nd, and on the 3rd of June, quickly, that God should take control of Nigeria. And those people that does it we prosper. And that’s what 2 Chronicles chapter 7, verse 14 says.”
Furthermore, she recounted how a farmer travelled from Iseyin in Oyo State to deliver the message to her, which she described as confirmation that God wanted her to make the announcement publicly.
She added that the directive was also intended for pastors, bishops, evangelists, archbishops, and leaders across all Christian denominations, urging them to participate in the three-day prayer session.
“God sent a farmer to me all the way from Iseyin, sent to me that God said he should go and meet me for me to say that God wants all Christians, all planters of churches, all pastors, all evangelists, all prophetesses, all prophets, all archbishops, all bishops… That we should gather together between 1, 2, 3, on the 1st, on the 2nd, on the 3rd of June.”
The respected worship minister stressed that the prayer sessions should take place daily between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., without organising night vigils.
She encouraged Christians to express gratitude to God for His word and place their faith in Him for forgiveness and healing for the nation.
She further explained that the call for prayer goes beyond denominational boundaries and centres on unity among believers.
She appealed to the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and churches across different denominations, including Anglican, Methodist, Seraph, and CAC, to participate.
“This is not matter of a denomination. Christian Association of Nigeria, the leader, the president, I’m telling you, God said we should pray for 3 good days. PFN and all denominations in Nigeria, in Christendom, should pray to God of creation.”
Mama Bola Are ended by proclaiming the prayers in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, describing Nigeria as a nation that, like Jerusalem, should be lifted before God for divine intervention and restoration.
