Nollywood actress and movie producer, Toyin Abraham, has reacted after comedian Bovi turned her viral rift with colleague Funke Akindele into a stage skit at the AMVCA.
As previously reported, Bovi and his co-host for the 2026 AMVCA, Nomzamo Mbatha, recreated the now-viral moment in which Funke Akindele appeared to ignore Toyin Abraham’s greeting during Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere.
In the skit, Mbatha played the role of Funke Akindele, while Bovi acted as Toyin Abraham during the brief performance on stage.
“Aunty, aunty Funke… mtcheeww. If I ever present an award to you, call me a bastarrd,” Bovi said jokingly, drawing laughter from the audience.
Toyin Abraham, who was present at the awards ceremony, appeared to find the skit amusing despite being at the center of the joke.
In a viral video making rounds online, she was seen confronting Bovi about the performance, joking that she had predicted he would eventually turn the situation into a stage act.

Revisiting the origin of the controversy, Funke Akindele allegedly ignored Toyin Abraham at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere about a month ago.
The incident sparked widespread reactions online and fueled speculation that the actresses may still be dealing with unresolved tensions stemming from their long-rumored feud.
In the viral video, Toyin Abraham tried greeting Funke Akindele who was seated at the event but she was totally ignored by her colleague whose body language showed she was upset.
