A video showing a studio recording session between Nigerian singer and songwriter Chike and fellow singer Simisola, popularly known as Simi, has resurfaced online, attracting mixed reactions from fans amid the male singer’s ongoing controversy involving Frank Edoho’s ex-wife.
Rumours circulating on social media for over a week have alleged that Chike was romantically involved with Sandra Onyenucheya, Frank Edoho’s ex-wife, while she was still married.
Despite the allegations, the singer has maintained a low profile and has not publicly addressed the claims, which have continued to place him under scrutiny on social media.
Amid the controversy, an old clip of Chike recording music with Adekunle Gold’s wife, Simi, has sparked fresh conversations online.
In the short video, Chike and Simi were seen repeatedly rehearsing a particular lyric during a recording session, carefully fine-tuning their vocals.
Both singers appeared to share great chemistry throughout the process, laughing and interacting effortlessly while working together in the studio.
At one point, Simi seemed so impressed by Chike’s vocals that she nearly fell from where she was seated. However, the singer quickly held onto her chair, preventing her from falling.
