“I pray she is pregnant”: Uche Jombo unveils one thing she observed after visiting Alexx Ekubo’s wife following his demise

Veteran Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo, has opened up about meeting with the wife of late Nigerian actor, Alexx Ekubo, following his heartbreaking passing.

In a post shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Jombo reflected on the mix of emotions she experienced as she sat with Alexx Ekubo’s wife and others, reminiscing about the life and memories of the late actor.

She wrote:

“As we sat around your wife today talking about you, through the tears came heavy laughter and I looked around and said … this is so Alex. Thank you brother for the memories, lessons, conversations and love!”

The Nollywood star went on to praise Alexx Ekubo for being intentional about keeping his private life away from the spotlight, adding that his absence would be deeply felt.

She also expressed gratitude to God, saying she was thankful that the actor had finally found peace.

Jombo added:

“Because I know how much of a planner you are and how intentional you are, I can say you did it YOUR WAY! Everything else is noise. Our hearts are breaking but I know you are free from pain, and left with a smile. I thank God for your life , for your peace with him in the end. I’m sure you already know we got her! Love you and miss you Ikuku,”
