Emotions ran high in a community in Abia State as the coffin of late cleric Uma Ukpai arrived at a compound ahead of his burial.
Residents and members of the Christian community had gathered to honour the respected preacher, whose passing left a significant impact on many.
What was expected to be a solemn moment, however, turned into a scene filled with intense reactions as people responded visibly upon sighting the coffin.
Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.
His family confirmed that he died peacefully after dedicating his life to Christian service.
Over a ministry that spanned more than 60 years, he became widely known for his powerful teachings, passionate preaching, and commitment to mentoring others spiritually, both in Nigeria and beyond.
A video shared online by a Facebook user, Oga Yenne TV, captured the moment the coffin was brought into the compound, showing the crowd reacting in an emotional and energetic manner.
