Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has been captured in an emotional moment following the death of veteran actor Olu Jacobs.
A short video recorded on the morning of September 16, 2026, showed Emeka Ike standing near a residential gate as he struggled to hold back his tears.

Olu Jacobs dies at 84
Olu Jacobs, whose full name was Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs, was born on July 11, 1942, and died at the age of 84.
The news of his passing was announced by his son, Olusoji Jacobs, in a statement shared on Instagram.
Olusoji described his late father as “The Lion of Lufodo” while reflecting on his life and legacy and expressing gratitude for “a life well lived and fought.”
The Jacobs family, including his wife and fellow actress Joke Silva, also appealed to bloggers and social media users to respect their privacy as they mourned the veteran actor.
