A Nigerian lady identified as Amasa on TikTok has shared an unusual observation about one of the housemates in this season’s Big Brother Naija reality show.
The BBNaija housemate she spoke about is Amyr Yousufzai, popularly known as Aikou in the house. Aikou is 25 years old and works as a freelance teacher and web developer. He also describes himself as a bookworm and hails from Abuja.
He has emerged as one of the standout personalities on BBNaija Season 11, Show Ya Sef, capturing the attention of viewers with his calm demeanor and distinctive northern accent.
Reacting to his personality, Amasa questioned the credibility of the personal story Aikou presented upon entering the show. She also expressed doubts about the authenticity of his northern accent.
According to her, Aikou’s accent does not sound natural. Drawing from her experience as a northerner, she argued that it appears rehearsed rather than genuine and does not come across as authentic as she would have expected.
In conclusion, Amasa maintained that she is yet to fully believe the story Aikou has shared about himself on the show, as she feels there is an element of pretense in his personality.
