Musiliu Akinsanya, widely recognised as MC Oluomo, has become the subject of intense social media attention after Afrobeats star Davido called him out publicly on Instagram.
The development followed earlier reports that Davido had stepped into the growing disagreement between MC Oluomo and his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Davido took to his Instagram story with a brief but pointed message written in pidgin English: “@kingmcoluomo dem say u Dey game … I doubt lol look ur mirror.”
Despite its brevity, the message quickly attracted attention because it came amid a heated disagreement over the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Osun State.
The controversy intensified after Governor Adeleke announced the suspension of the union’s operations in the state, a move that MC Oluomo, who serves as the union’s national president, openly rejected.
Speaking through his deputy, Aliyu Issa Ore, Oluomo maintained that no state governor possessed the power to suspend the union’s activities.
As the dispute continued to generate public interest, the matter soon became a talking point across social media platforms, with several Nigerians heading to MC Oluomo’s page to leave mocking reactions.
Some social media users referenced Davido’s message while encouraging the NURTW leader to “look mirror.”
