A disturbing relationship scandal has been circulating online involving a Nigerian billionaire and his long-time girlfriend.
The development has triggered widespread discussion after resurfacing allegations against the unnamed businessman gained renewed attention on social media.
According to reports, the billionaire, whose identity has not been disclosed, was accused by his girlfriend of taking her used sanitary pad and allegedly hiding it in his pocket during a visit to her residence in Ikoyi, Lagos State.
The claim, which has not been independently verified, has fueled intense reactions and speculation online.
Following the incident, it was further alleged that the woman became extremely frightened and eventually left Nigeria due to concerns for her personal safety. Individuals familiar with the couple have also suggested that they had been in a romantic relationship for about seven years.
During that time, the businessman was reportedly responsible for supporting her lavish lifestyle, including luxury trips abroad and the purchase of a house in Ikoyi.
According to accounts circulating online, the incident is said to have begun earlier this year after the businessman visited the woman at her home while she was on her menstrual cycle.
It is alleged that after he left, she later noticed that a used sanitary pad she had disposed of in her bathroom bin was missing, which immediately raised her suspicion.
Reports further claim that she reached out to him and requested that he return to her residence. When confronted about the missing item, he initially denied any involvement.
However, it is alleged that she later checked his personal belongings and reportedly found the used sanitary pad in one of his pockets.
The discovery was said to have left her deeply unsettled and doubtful. According to sources, she confronted him over the alleged incident, but his explanation reportedly did not satisfy her concerns.
Fearing that the situation might be connected to something ritual-related, she was said to have isolated herself inside her apartment before eventually going into hiding. The situation was also reported to have worsened after the relationship ended.
Insiders further claimed that the businessman later attempted to recover assets he had previously gifted to her by allegedly altering or pursuing changes to ownership documents.
In addition, the woman was said to have accused individuals linked to the businessman of unlawfully entering her apartment during her absence.
She alleged that several valuable items were taken, including a Range Rover, a Lexus RX350, foreign currency, naira cash, and expensive jewelry. The total value of the reported losses was said to amount to several millions of naira.
Reports indicate that the case has now been escalated to the Special Fraud Unit in Ikoyi, Lagos. The woman involved is reportedly outside the country and is said to have engaged legal representatives to petition the Nigeria Police Force, seeking protection and justice.
She is also alleged to have accused the businessman of using influence, intimidation, and power against members of her family.
According to sources, the Inspector General of Police has been briefed on the situation and has reportedly ordered a discreet investigation into the matter.
