The 16-year-old girl who achieved the highest score in the 2026 UTME has now received a remarkable opportunity from a company in the United States.
Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin drew widespread media attention after reports revealed that she recorded an outstanding score in the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
During an interview with CableTV, it was disclosed that Daniella scored an impressive 372 marks in the recently concluded UTME, making her the highest scorer in this year’s computer-based examination.
Speaking during the interview, the teenager introduced herself and shared details about her educational background.
“I am Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin. I am 16 years old. For my primary education, I attended Royal Standard International School. And for my junior secondary school, I attended Universal Success Academy. For my senior secondary school, I attended EFVP Wisdom Strength Model School.”
She also revealed that she served as head girl during her time in junior secondary school while in JSS3, and later held the same position in senior secondary school in SS3.
The 16-year-old further opened up about how she felt after learning that she had emerged as the highest scorer in this year’s JAMB examination.
Her words:
“When I heard about my success, I was very happy, and it was actually a moment to be proud of. I felt grateful to God. My joy knew no bounds. I didn’t even know how to express myself at that moment. I was kind of emotional and all of that. So, I was very happy and thankful to God.”
Following the publication of her exclusive interview with The Cable, renowned chess master and coach, Tunde Onakoya, took to his social media page, @Tunde_OD, to share encouraging news about the 16-year-old academic star.
According to him, Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin, who recently emerged as the highest scorer in the 2026 UTME examination, has received a promising opportunity from a leading company in the United States.
The offer came in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement, adding another remarkable milestone to her success story.
