Veteran Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie, has declined to speak on the circumstances that led to the collapse of his previous marriage to May Edochie.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast, the actor argued that the full truth about certain situations is not always revealed on social media.
According to him, only a portion of the story often makes it online, while other details that provide proper context are left out.
Reflecting on the events that led to the breakdown of his marriage, Yul Edochie claimed that the public has largely relied on only one version of the story to form opinions about the situation.
He said:
“Things always lead to things but most times, social media doesn’t get to hear everything. Social Media fit hear from 50 percent this way but them no get hear from 1-50 and they will begin to judge from that 50.”
Furthermore, the actor stated that he does not consider it necessary at this stage to address rumours circulating online or reveal other issues involving his ex-wife that may have contributed to their separation.
When asked by the podcast host whether his wife did anything wrong during their marriage, the actor responded with a calm, prolonged laugh, a reaction that has since been left open to several interpretations.
