Reactions have trailed a post by a Nigerian lady who seemingly mocked Pastor Jerry Eze over one of his prayer points concerning damaged electronics and automobiles.
In the viral video, the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International appeared as usual at the altar, passionately praying for the restoration of damaged phones, laptops, televisions, and even cars belonging to members, all in the name of Jesus.
The lady who shared the post accompanied it with laughing emojis, which many interpreted as a subtle jab at the pastor’s prayer point.
The clip has since sparked mixed reactions online. While some netizens found the prayer point amusing, others pushed back, sharing personal testimonies of experiencing restoration after participating in similar prayers.
@damselofzion commented: “It worked for me. Not once, not twice and I will keep saying it. What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist. If it is a concern to you, it is also a concern to God no matter how little. If the axe head could swim then electronics can get back to working. If the dead can rise, then inanimate objects can work again. Never limit God or box Him. Search the scriptures, it is written If ye shall ask ANYTHING in My Name.”
@tims212 also shared his experience: “This was about 2years ago my abandoned phone that refused to come up, mine came up after this prayer…. I just say let me try it and it came up without repairs and I was told the board was damaged.”
