The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has made public the identities and photographs of 125 Nigerian nationals who have been taken into custody and are currently facing deportation from the country.
The information was released through the agency’s “Worst of the Worst” initiative, a public-facing campaign launched as part of a wider effort to intensify immigration enforcement and deportation operations.
According to records published on the DHS portal, the affected Nigerian citizens were arrested in various states across the United States for a range of alleged criminal offences.
The listed charges include forgery, fraud, identity theft, wire fraud, kidnapping, sexual assault, robbery, assault, domestic violence, money laundering, and trafficking in stolen property.
Names And Locations Of Nigerians On The Deportation List
One of the individuals identified on the list is Christopher Ojuma, who was arrested in Dallas, Texas, on allegations relating to forgery and fraud. Adeolu Solabu was taken into custody in Baltimore, Maryland, where he is facing wire fraud charges.
In Chicago, Illinois, authorities arrested Adeyinka Ademokunla on kidnapping allegations, while Kingsley Ariegwe was apprehended in Deer Lodge, Montana, in connection with sexual assault charges.
Also featured on the list is Olusegun Martins, who was arrested in Houston, Texas. He faces several allegations, including larceny, identity theft, wire fraud, and fraud-related offences.
Kenneth Unanka was arrested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on charges involving forgery, fraud, and traffic-related violations.
Jeremiah Ehis is listed as facing assault, domestic violence, and drug-related charges in Dallas.
The DHS database further indicates that Oluwafemi Orimolade was arrested in Columbia, South Carolina, on allegations of aggravated assault involving a weapon, as well as domestic violence.
Meanwhile, Ayibatonye Bienzigha has been charged with money laundering offences in Newark, New Jersey. The department noted that additional names and case details can be accessed through the official government portal.
The administration of President Donald Trump has continued to place significant emphasis on deporting non-citizens with criminal records. Government officials have repeatedly referred to such individuals as the “worst of the worst” among criminal aliens.
Both the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are overseeing the ongoing deportation operations, with priority being given to individuals considered to pose the highest threats to public safety.
Nigeria is among several African nations whose citizens have appeared on similar deportation rosters, alongside Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
