A woman based in the United States has taken to social media to level serious allegations against Nigerian on-air personality, Mayowa Lambe, accusing her of being involved in the collapse of her marriage.
The claims come amid ongoing public attention surrounding Mayowa Lambe’s past relationship with her estranged husband, Roby Ekpo.
In a series of posts, the woman alleged that Mayowa had previously been romantically linked to her ex-husband, Yusuf Fatai, and alleged that the relationship contributed to the breakdown of her home.
She further claimed that her former husband may have played a role in helping Mayowa relocate to the United States after he obtained citizenship through their marriage.
According to her, Fatai had a pattern of assisting people with visa applications and was allegedly involved in questionable dealings related to travel documents.
She also alleged that before meeting her, he had proposed to Mayowa while still maintaining a relationship with another woman abroad.
Expressing her grievances, she wrote:
“This Mayowa girl caused serious issues in my household. Mayowa is also an ex-girlfriend to my now ex-husband, Yusuf Fatai.
Maybe homeland security and investigations can let us know if it was my ex-husband who invited Mayowa to America after he had secured his citizenship through marriage to me.”
She went on to claim that her ex-husband once admitted to opening a credit card for Mayowa while they were still married, saying he was simply trying to assist her.
The allegations have sparked reactions online, with many awaiting any response from the parties involved.
