A man identified by the Instagram username @nuugamemusic has disclosed a message late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo sent to him on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025.
The music producer and sound engineer had joined other celebrities and well-wishers in paying tribute to the Nigerian actor who passed away due to kidney complications.
The sad news hit the Nigerian entertainment industry on May 12, 2025, when it was officially confirmed that Alexx Ekubo had passed on at a hospital in Lagos State.
His death was undeniably a serious heartbreak for Nigerians who were great fans of his acting skills in movies.
As earlier mentioned, @nuugamemusic, whose real name is Aitua Ogiamien, has shared his final conversations with Alexx Ekubo during last year’s Christmas.
During this period, the Nollywood actor was still on a break from social media but made time to wish his friend a Merry Christmas.
He wrote: “Merry Christmas to you and yours, we are thankful to God for his mercies and kindness.”
His friend (Aitua Ogiamien) responded: “My bro Dang!!! Just seeing this. Thank you for the well wishes, I hope your Christmas was merry. Much love to your and yours.”
Sharing the chat, he wrote:
“This conversation between us suddenly hits differently Rest in Peace my guy, Alexx Ekubo”
