Prophetess Bright Ndinunwa, popularly known as Bright the Seer and founder of The Lord of Hosts Miracle Chapel in Lagos, has publicly declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.
In a viral video posted on Tuesday, May 5th she said Tinubu remains the holder of the presidency and is likely to secure a second term.
She also stated that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, another key contender, is not destined to become president. Instead, she claimed his role lies in advising and supporting the less privileged.
Bright the Seer’s prediction comes at a time when Nigeria’s political climate is heating up. Opposition heavyweights like Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Rabiu Kwankwaso are reportedly strategizing to unseat the incumbent.
Obi and Kwankwaso recently left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as part of their 2027 ambitions.
The prophecy has sparked mixed reactions online, with many netizens pushing back against her claim.
@emmaonah wrote: “Continue lying in the name of God! Has God revealed to you when election rigging will end in Nigeria? Impostors everywhere!.”
@NDUBISIFELIX5 commented: “Your thought on Atiku is a prediction, not a prophecy, and then you cautioned and advised NDC, not a prophecy as well.”
@AnyanwuMalachy: “Abeg Abeg, leave religion and una prophecy away from this. Don’t spoil this politics with una spiritual gimmicks.”
@NigeriaShokunin: “Spiritual interpretations may resonate with some, but democratic outcomes are ultimately decided by voters, institutions, and strategy, not prophecy.”
