A Nigerian man identified as Olayemi Daniel has gone viral on social media after accusing pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), including the church’s General Overseer, Enoch Adeboye, of allegedly making life difficult for him since 2023.
The man, who spoke in a video shared on TikTok, said he joined RCCG in 2013 while he was in higher institution and remained an active member for years.
He explained that although he allegedly noticed certain behaviours within the church that he did not consider proper, he ignored them at the time because they did not directly affect him.
According to him, his challenges allegedly began after he relocated to another area in Ibadan and joined the workers’ department of an RCCG parish in Oluyole, where he became part of the church drama unit because of his acting talent.
He claimed that after suffering a robbery incident, he became financially unstable and could no longer donate to the church the way he used to. The man alleged that this changed how some church leaders and members treated him.
The man further claimed that a wealthy member of the church once showed interest in supporting him because of his talent, but the opportunity allegedly failed after a pastor reportedly told the man qhe was involved in internet fraud and theft.
He also alleged that when he attempted to raise the issue with church leaders in the Oyo State parish group, his complaints were ignored, while he was allegedly described as mentally unstable and his message deleted from the group.
According to him, the situation later worsened as he allegedly began facing hostility in different RCCG parishes. He claimed his image was circulated among several churches around his area to damage his reputation, adding that the alleged attacks eventually extended to his personal life and business environment.
He noted that it also affected his acting career as the little side gigs he gets no longer comes.
The man also spoke about how his cordial relationship with TAMPAN president, Mr Latin drastically deteriorated; a situation he attributed to the intense badmouthing orchestrated by the church.
Sharing the video, he wrote:
“This is my own part of the story in detail.
If anything happens to me, Hold RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and other Nigerian pastors responsible.”
“After they Defame me, Attack my Career, Destroyed my Businesses worth Millions, They are still after my Life.
Most Nigerian Pastors are demonic, Just using God’s name to cover up their evil deeds.”
