Busola Dakolo, the wife of Nigerian music star Timi Dakolo, has responded in her own way after new allegations emerged involving her husband.
The development came just hours after DJ Timmy publicly alleged that Timi Dakolo owed him money. He also threatened to reveal what he described as the singer’s alleged “sexcapades” and “little adventures in Lagos.”
Rather than addressing the accusations directly, Busola chose to focus on her faith. She shared an emotional video on Instagram, encouraging her followers to reflect on God’s goodness and join her in giving thanks.
“I hardly ask you for anything; please do this one thing for me. Say, ‘God, I thank you for Busola’s life.’ No special reason. Just a woman reminiscing and thinking of God’s goodness and faithfulness. Words fail me; indeed, God is good.”
The latest development comes months after Busola and Timi Dakolo marked their 14th wedding anniversary with a celebration in Paris.
During the occasion, the singer paid tribute to his wife, applauding her unwavering love and patience while admitting, “It takes a lot of love to love me, and my wife is doing an amazing job.”
Busola also shared her thoughts on their marriage, saying that “love lives with us” while offering prayers for God’s continued direction and blessings over their union.
The couple, who have three children together, are widely recognized for their strong relationship and their consistent public expressions of faith.
