Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has sparked widespread reactions online after delivering a fiery reply to a social media user who attempted to mock him with the long-circulating “one minute man” remark.
The incident began after an Instagram user identified as @kin_g_s_ley left a comment under one of Churchill’s posts celebrating his former wife, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, on her 41st birthday.
According to earlier reports, Churchill had shared a photo of Tonto on his official Instagram page alongside a birthday message in which he reflected on her faith and acknowledged her role as a mother.
While many social media users praised the gesture and commended him for publicly celebrating his ex-wife, the unnamed commenter took a different route, writing: “lol true true you are a 1 minute man.”
Unwilling to ignore the jab, Churchill responded directly and sharply, refusing to let the insult slide.
He fired back at the user, “@kin_g_s_ley what do you need this information for, you be Gay? He be like say you dey wrong address. For the 1 minute we fit test run your fine aunty or sister as I no like ugly people, them go come back give you report.”
The “one-minute man” tag dates back to allegations made by Tonto Dikeh against Churchill during the highly publicised period of their divorce years ago.
Despite the bitter fallout at the time, both parties later moved past their differences, reconciling in 2026 and reconnecting on Instagram. Since then, they have occasionally shared cordial exchanges online.
