Moses Daniel Terzungwe, a student of Sky Crest High School in Bauchi, has sparked reactions online after sharing his 2026 WASSCE result and asking whether he could pursue Medicine and Surgery.
The student posted the result on Facebook on Thursday, August 6, 2026, alongside a question that caught the attention of social media users:
“Can I study medicine and surgery with this result?”
His result showed that he passed all nine subjects he sat for, recording a mix of distinctions and credits.
He obtained A1 in Marketing, B2 in Economics, B3 in Civic Education, B3 in English Language, C6 in General Mathematics, B3 in Agriculture, B3 in Biology, B3 in Chemistry and C5 in Physics.
His performance in the major science subjects required for Medicine and Surgery — Biology, Chemistry and Physics — placed him within the credit range.
However, his C6 in Mathematics and C5 in Physics prompted questions about whether the result would be competitive enough for admission into a Nigerian university to study Medicine and Surgery.
Following the post, several social media users congratulated Moses on his performance while others offered advice about his chances and possible next steps.
His question has since generated discussions about the WAEC requirements and admission standards for prospective medical students in Nigeria.
