Ilebaye Precious Odiniya has become a major topic online after a disturbing video allegedly showed her being physically assaulted by her father during an Instagram live session.
The viral clip captured the moment the Big Brother Naija star appeared distressed while attempting to go live on Instagram as a man alleged to be her father repeatedly attacked her physically.
According to online reports, the incident reportedly happened while Ilebaye was visiting her brothers at their family residence ahead of her birthday celebration.
The reality star, who first appeared in the 2022 edition of BBNaija before emerging winner of the 2023 All Stars season, was allegedly left with visible injuries, including swollen eyes, following the incident.
Reports further claimed that the alleged assault stopped after her father noticed that she was already live on Instagram.
Sources online also alleged that Ilebaye’s parents separated in 2024 and that the reality star had since been living independently away from her father.
The man identified as her father was named as Hon. Emmanuel Godson Odiniya, an Abuja-based politician and former Physical Health Education teacher at Government Secondary School Alloma Ofu in Kogi State.
As of the time this report was filed, the exact cause of the alleged altercation between the reality star and her father had not been made public.
Reacting to the incident, Beauty Tukura, who is known to be close to Ilebaye, confirmed that she had spoken with the BBNaija winner and assured concerned fans that she was safe.
