Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has criticized her colleague, Ruth Kadiri, over a recent spiritual revelation she shared about the Holy Spirit and artificial intelligence.
In a video posted on Instagram, Ruth Kadiri claimed she received a message from God stating that people would refer to the Holy Spirit as the “first AI.”
She explained that many Christians are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence for solutions and warned that this could lead people away from God.
She said:
“If there is an original, there is also going to be a fake. The devil is trying to take control of the world in ways that we can’t imagine.
God told me that the Holy Spirit is what people will call today the first AI. A lot of Christians have started to take their problems to AI, and they have forgotten that God first invented it for His children to meet their emotional needs.
If we Christians aren’t careful, we will end up believing these apps will solve our problems.”
Reacting in a blog comment section, Angela Okorie strongly disagreed with the statement and dismissed it as false.
She said:
“This nonsense has to stop.”
She further added:
“Na wa o. Which Holy Spirit go and sit down and shut up your mouth. This nonsense has to stop.”
