Duke Chidi Nwafor, the elder brother of Mbara Deborah, has spoken out over the controversy involving self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, regarding an allegedly altered medical report.
This comes after Blessing CEO recently claimed she was battling stage four cancer and later a medical report believed to be hers surfaced online. She further appealed to the public for financial support.
However, doubts soon emerged, with reports suggesting that the document she posted did not belong to her.
Addressing the situation in a Facebook post on Monday, March 30, Duke shared what he described as his sister’s original medical report alongside the version allegedly altered and circulated online.
He also revealed a letter from Deborah’s legal representative, demanding that Blessing CEO publicly admit the truth.
According to the letter, Deborah had previously been diagnosed with breast cancer but has since recovered.
It further explained that she had willingly shared her medical report with Blessing CEO after the latter claimed to be facing a similar condition, in an attempt to encourage her.
Reacting strongly, Duke accused Blessing CEO of taking advantage of the situation by allegedly falsifying the report to mislead the public for financial gain.
He maintained that she was never diagnosed with cancer and issued a 24-hour ultimatum for her to apologise or face legal consequences.
His statement read:
“TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.
This is the more reason people should not believe whatever they see online. Always investigate information you see here before believing and sharing it.
The Lady Blessing CEO stole and forged her medical report to dupe unsuspecting members of the public is my younger sister.
You all know how private medical reports are and how difficult it is for my sister to do this. It is just to clear the air and exonerate herself and expose the chronic liar Blessing CEO is.
Blessing CEO was not diagnosed of any cancer and she has 24 hours to come out and apologize to my sister or face the full wrath of the law.”
He also mentioned in the comment section that Blessing CEO had previously been his sister’s client.
According to Legit.ng, Duke further confirmed that Deborah is his biological younger sister.
