A video allegedly capturing the moment a medical doctor descended heavily on a woman who recently delivered a baby is serving rounds online.
The clip which failed to provide exact details on where the incident occurred showed the man who’s believed to be a doctor vigorously beating the woman moments after childbirth.
As expected, the woman was in a still in a pool of blood while struggling to restrain the man who succeeded in flogging her repeatedly.
A statement which was attached to the video condemned the violent display in entirety.
Upon further research, the hospital mentioned appeared to be located in DR Congo.
The statement accompanying the clip read:
“Urgent
We are denouncing a grave act of violence and medical unethical conduct that occurred at the Kinkole General Reference Hospital.
A patient in distress would have been a victim of mistreatment during her care, accoraing to shocking testimonies.”
