Nigerian adult f!lm actress Tall Lizzy has sparked conversation online after calling out what she described as double standards in how male and female adult content creators are treated.
In a video she shared on social media, Tall Lizzy compared the reactions on the pages of male adult stars like King Nasir to those on female creators’ pages.
According to her, male performers are often praised and celebrated, sometimes referred to as “Odogwus”, while female performers are criticized and shamed.
She pointed out that women in the industry frequently receive negative comments, including remarks suggesting their future children would be ashamed of them with some insinuating that they would never get married.
Tall Lizzy argued that the same level of criticism is rarely directed at male adult stars.
The actress said the experience has helped her better understand why some feminists are outspoken about gender inequality.
She also alleged that many of the people criticizing her publicly are actually followers who continue to support her content privately.
